kish answer:HTML is not a programming language, it is a markup language. I suggest you learn C++ or C#. C++ is one of the most powerful languages in the world, and C# is similar, but has it's own memory management system. All large scale games/software will achieve the fastest/highest fps result using C++ out of any other reasonable language at the moment.
If you want to learn computer programming, I suggest you learn multiple OBJECT ORIENTED languages. I have been learning Actionscript 3 and C++, because of my AS3 knowledge, I have learned C++ very quickly.
